SUBJECT:	CMCS Year End Processing

Tuesday, July 8, 2003 is the last day to process deposits, requisitions, transfers and electronic warrants, with a CMCS effective date of June 30, 2003.  In order to eliminate possible system problems, please do not enter requisitions or transfers after the 11:00 a.m. cutoff on July 8, 2003.  The Office of the State Controller (OSC) will return any requisitions or transfers not processed at the 11:00  a.m. update.  Also, please do not enter any electronic warrants or deposits after the 2:00 p.m. update on July 8, 2003.  The Department of the State Treasurer (DST) will return any warrants or deposits not processed at the 2:00 p.m. update.  Please be aware that any transaction (requisition, transfer, deposit or warrant), that is not processed on July 8, 2003 and is returned by OSC or DST, will have to be re-entered into the new year CMCS data base on July 9, 2003.

Also, during the first couple of weeks of July, please verify that all CMCS screen information (budget code titles, disbursing account numbers, bank account numbers, etc.) has been correctly carried forward in the new year for your budget codes.
