| 1. | Turn on the PC power switch and the monitor power switch. |
| 2. | Utilize your existing procedure
to access the C prompt.
Note: If you log on to a file server or a network, contact your Agency System Administrator for logon procedures. |
| 3. | At the C prompt (C:\>),
type win and press ENTER.
Note: The Windows Program Manager screen will appear. |
| 4. | Open the North Carolina Accounting System AP Check Printing program group by double-clicking on it, if necessary. |
| 5. | Double-click on your
agency-specific Check Printing icon.
Note: IRMA for Windows will load and the Mainframe logon screen will appear. |
| 6. | Use your agency’s procedures
to logon to TSO and to access the READY prompt.
Note: When the READY prompt appears, the check file(s) will automatically be downloaded. (If an error occurs, a message will be displayed and you must contact the OSC Help Desk.) After the file transfer is complete, you will automatically be logged off TSO and CheckGard for Windows will load. The CheckGard logon dialog box will appear. |
| 7. | In the CheckGard Logon dialog box, type your user name in the User Name field. |
| 8. | TAB once and type your password in the PASSWORD field. |
| 9. | Click OK, or press
ENTER.
If you receive an error message indicating that you have typed your user name/password incorrectly, repeat Steps 7 and 8. After three failed attempts you will be logged out of CheckGard and your data file will be deleted. You must then contact the OSC Help Desk. |
