Reducing the Quantity Ordered Step-by-Step

If you receive a maximum exception warning or a stock shortage warning and wish to reduce the quantity ordered:
 

1. Type a smaller amount than first specified in the QTY field on the Usage Order Line Item Entry (UOLE) screen or the Usage Order Additions (UOA) screen. 
2. Press ENTER. 
    Note: If you still get the message, continue to reduce the quantity until you do not get the message. 
    Note: If the item is completely out-of-stock, you will not be able to eliminate the warning by reducing the quantity.
