| 1. | Click on your agency-specific
check icon on the CheckGard toolbar.
Note: The check data file will be initialized. This may take several moments, but you can hear the disk as processing begins. The system will prompt you for a MICR verification code. A MICR Status Check page will automatically print. |
| 2. | Type the six-digit MICR verification code from the MICR Status Check page in the MICR Verification dialog box. |
| 3. | Click OK.
Note: If you Typed the correct MICR verification code the system will begin printing the checks, and a CheckGard dialog box will appear. The check status screen will automatically be updated during check printing. If the checks do not begin printing, you may have typed the MICR verification code incorrectly. Repeat Steps 1 and 2. |
| 4. | Click OK in the CheckGard
dialog box that prompts you to change to regular paper. Note that you have
already properly prepared the printer (page 1).
Note: When the checks have finished printing (in numerical order), the following documents will print:

| 5. | Click Setup. |
| 6. | Make sure that the HP LaserJet Series II on LPT1 printer is selected. (If not, then click on it.) |
| 7. | Also ensure that the print
setup dialog box is set up as follows:

| 8. | Click OK. |
| 9. | Ensure that the Print Range is set to All. |
| 10. | Click OK in the Print
dialog box.
Note: The following document will print:

| 11. | If there is check spoilage, refer to Check Spoilage in Check Printing Procedures Step-by-Step; otherwise, continue with Step 12. |
| 12. | Click File on the CheckGard menu bar. |
| 13. | Click Exit.
Note: The following Run Time Alert message will appear:Check Processing Completed...Click ‘OK.’ |
| 14. | Click OK. |
