Item Delivery Inquiry

There are occasions when received items must be delivered to a specific person or location. Knowing where to find the delivery location online is critical to ensuring that received items are delivered to the appropriate person or location quickly and safely.

Note:  Stock items are items received to replenish inventory at an agency's warehouse location. Depending on your
work location, you may or may not receive stock items.
The Receiving Item Delivery (RID) screen displays a list of purchase order lines with a delivery point for each line. This display includes all purchase order lines except those with a status of 0 (unresolved) or 4 (deleted). If you ever forget or are too busy to make a note of the delivery location, then you can look up the delivery location by accessing the RID screen.

1. Type RID in the NEXT FUNCTION field of any screen in the Purchasing module and press ENTER to access the RID screen.

Note:  If you have accessed the RID screen by typing RID in the NEXT FUNCTION field of the RBL screen, you
will notice that the buying entity and PO number default from the RBL screen. Just as on the RIS screen,
you can use various combinations of search criteria to locate a receipt online:

    -  The search criteria combination of the buying entity and vendor item number finds receipts from your
       agency for a specific item.

    -  The search criteria combination of buying entity, paying entity and vendor short name finds all receipts for
items from a vendor with multiple locations (e.g., WalMart).

    -  The search criteria combination of buying entity, paying entity, and vendor number finds all receipts for
items from a specific vendor location (e.g., WalMart on Glenwood Avenue).
2. Type your buying entity in the BUY ENTITY field.
3. Type the purchase order number in the PO NO. field and press ENTER
4. View the information in the DELIVER TO field.
5. Contact the person to whom the goods are to be delivered and advise him or her that the items have been received.
6. Make arrangements for delivery to the proper location.
