Choose one of the following
two options for entering storage overhead:
5a. Type the fixed
storage overhead (storage overhead amount) in the STORAGE OVERHEAD
AMOUNT field.
5b. Type the variable
storage overhead (storage overhead percent) in the STORAGE OVERHEAD
PERCENT field.
Note: On the Item
Warehouse Accounting Update (IWAU) screen, the value in the STORAGE OVERHEAD
PERCENT field must be typed in the format 12.3, i.e., two digits
to the left and one digit to the right of the decimal place. If the value

THE DECIMAL POINT 01 DIGITS ARE ALLOWED TO THE RIGHT - NO UPDATES OCCURRED.

Press ENTER to process
the information. The next IWAU screen reappears with the next item-warehouse
record for this item.
Note: Note that you
can also follow steps 2 through 6 on the Item Warehouse Accounting Entry
(IWAE) screen. However, you can only use this screen to establish overhead
when the item-warehouse link is originally created. If you process the
storage overhead information on the Item Warehouse Accounting Entry (IWAE)
screen, the Item Warehouse History Entry (IWHE) screen appears after the
storage overhead has been entered. Warehouse managers can use this screen
to enter item usage history for that warehouse. Press ENTER to clear
the IWHE screen.
You have completed establishing
storage overhead for the item. Customers will now be charged the current
average cost plus the overhead for each unit of the item.
