Deleting the Header

Deleting the header is the last step in deleting a requisition. The header should be deleted only when you are deleting the entire requisition. A header can be deleted only if it has neither comments nor lines associated with it.

1. Type RQH in the NEXT FUNCTION field of any screen in the Purchasing module and press ENTER to access the Requisition Header (RQH) screen.

Note:  If you have accessed this screen by typing RQH in the NEXT FUNCTION field of the RQ1 screen, the  buying entity will default.

2. Type the buying entity used for the requisition in the BUY ENTITY field.
3. Type the requisition number in the REQUISITION NO. field.
4. Type C in the REQUEST field and press ENTER to display the information in change mode.
5. When the header information is displayed, type 4 (delete) in the REQUISITION STATUS field and press ENTER. When a blank RQH screen is displayed by the system, the requisition header has been deleted.

Note:  Deleting the header allows the requisitioner to reuse the requisition number. To do so, the requester must  enter the requisition number on the RQH screen instead of letting the system default the next available number.
