Defining a Staging Area Step-by-Step

From the Inventory module:
 

1. Type WHAE in the NEXT FUNCTION field to access the Warehouse Area Entry (WHAE) screen. 
2. Type the staging area ID in the first KEYS field, and press ENTER. 
    The Warehouse Area Entry (WHAE) screen is displayed with the staging area ID in the WAREHOUSE field. 
3. Type a description for the staging area in the DESCRIPTION field. 
    Note: M for materials management defaults to the USE INDICATOR field. An M must always appear in this field. 
4. Type S in the INVENTORY TYPE field to classify this area as a staging area, and press ENTER.
