Defining a Cycle Count Access Path Step-by-Step

From the Inventory module:
 

1. Type APE in the NEXT FUNCTION field to access the Access Path Entry (APE) screen. 
2. Type C for cycle count path in the first position of the first KEYS field. 
3. Type the cycle count path ID beginning in position two of the first KEYS field, and press ENTER
    The Access Path Entry (APE) screen is displayed with the cycle count path identifier in the ACCESS PATH ID field. 
4. Type a description for the cycle count path in the DESCRIPTION field. 
5. Type the count interval (in number of days) in the COUNT INTERVAL field. 
6. Type the date for the next cycle count for the path in the NEXT CYCLE DATE field. 
7.  Type APSE in the NEXT FUNCTION field to access the Access Path Sequence Entry (APSE) screen. 
8. Type = in the first KEYS field, and press ENTER
    The Access Path Sequence Entry (APSE) screen is displayed with the cycle count path information appearing on the screen. You can continue with defining the sequences for this cycle count path. 
9. Type the sequence number in the SEQUENCE field.
10. Type the warehouse ID for the sequence in the WAREHOUSE field. 
11. Type the warehouse area ID for the sequence in the AREA field.
12. Type the description for the sequence in the ACCESS PATH SEQUENCE DESCRIPTION field, and press ENTER.
