| 1. | Ensure that the printer is off! |

| 3. | Turn on the printer power
switch located on the front left side of the printer.
Note: The following message will be displayed on the printer display: LOGON 0 PASSWORD = 0. The light beside the lock icon will be illuminated. |
| 4. | Type your auditor printer
password as follows:
If your third attempt to type your password number fails, then the Alternate should make three attempts. If the Alternate’s third attempt fails, then contact the OSC Help Desk (919-875-HELP). |
| 5. | Press the Online
button.
Note: The arrow in the printer display will disappear. |
| 6. | Continue to press the Menu button until the message STATUS appears on the printer display. |
| 7. | Press ENTER.
Note: A PRINT COUNT TOTAL = [some number] message will display. |
| 8. | Press the Menu button until the message PRINT TRANSACT REPORT = NO * is displayed. |
| 9. | Press Reset once.
Note: The message PRINT TRANSACT REPORT = ALL will appear. |
| 10. | Press ENTER.
Note: The following will occur:

| 11. | Press Menu once.
Note: The following message will appear on the display panel:CLEAR TRANSACT HISTORY. |
| 12. | Press ENTER.
Note: The following message will appear on the display panel:LOGON 0 PASSWORD = 0 |
| 13. | Repeat Step 4.

| 14. | Press the Reset button until CLEAR TRANSACT MEMORY = YES is displayed. |
| 15. | Press ENTER.
Note: The message CLEAR TRANSACT PROCESSING... will appear, indicating that the audit file is clearing. |
| 16. | When the message CLEAR TRANSACT
MEMORY = NO * appears press the Online button.
Note: The message LJII READY TRAY 1 appears. |
| 17. | Turn the printer power switch off. |
