Replenishment Action Report
The warehouse manager can
use the Replenishment Action (RRACT) Report to determine
which inventory items should be replenished and to view the outstanding
replenishment orders for items. The report also displays the items for
which a requisition was not created due to an error condition.
The Replenishment Action
(RRACT) Report will display the following messages regarding
inventory items appearing on the report:
-
Requisition created:
A requisition has been automatically generated and transferred to the Purchasing
module. This message can only appear when auto requisitioning is selected.
-
Recommend requisition:
The inventory level of the item has dropped below the inventory standard,
but replenishment has not been initiated. When a requisition is recommended
on the Replenishment Action (RRACT) Report, a suggested reorder
quantity and unit of measure are displayed. The Recommend Requisition
message can only be displayed when auto requisitioning is not selected.
-
Requisition amt exceeded
maximum: The quantity requested on the requisition is greater than
the maximum requisition amount specified in the Purchasing module’s item
file. This message can only appear when auto requisitioning is selected.
-
Units of measure did not
match: The unit of measure specified for the item in the Inventory
module does not correspond with the unit of measure specified in the Purchasing
module.
-
Set up requester for auto
approval: Automatic approval has not been established for the planner
in the Purchasing module. This message can only appear when auto requisitioning
is selected.
-
Repl. needed, but reorder
qty=0: The order quantity is specified as zero on the Item Warehouse
Entry (IWE) screen or the economic order quantity is selected and one
of the factors in the calculation is zero.
-
Recommend inventory transfer:
Auto-requisitioning is selected and the inventory level of the item has
dropped below the inventory standard. However, the NCAS has not taken action
to replenish the item. Therefore, inventory should be transferred from
another warehouse location to replenish stock levels.
-
Planner flagged for deletion:
The planner ID established at the hierarchy level noted in the message
has been flagged for deletion on the Requester Definition (RED) screen
in the Purchasing module.
The Replenishment Action
(RRACT) Report displays the following information for those
items that have already been requisitioned via the Purchasing module:
-
Requisition number
-
Line number
-
Buying entity
The Replenishment Action
(RRACT) Report is generated automatically when the min/max control,
order point control, or computed order point control is selected on the
Item Warehouse Entry (IWE) screen. This report displays minimum exceptions,
i.e., this report indicates when stock has fallen below minimum stocking
levels in the warehouse and needs to be replenished. The warehouse manager
should consult this report daily. The Replenishment Action (RRACT)
Report is located in RMDS in the report group IN260-3.
