ACCOUNTING SYSTEM CHANGE NOTIFICATION

Purpose:  G.S. 143B-426.39 applicable to all State agencies requires the State Controller to approve all changes in agency accounting system/subsystems or material modifications to accounting procedures. Please reference the NCAS Financial Systems Master Plan issued on November 15, 1999 (http://www.osc.nc.gov/fsmp/1999/fsmp_default.html).

Responsibility for Preparing:  The agency must submit this request form which should be signed by the agency’s chief fiscal officer. Change requests must be provided to the OSC as soon as possible, preferably in the project planning phase.
