There are two methods of downloading off of the web.

Method A:

• Left click on the link A "Save As..." box pops up
• Navigate to the location you want to save the file in
• Click the Save button

Method B:

• Right click on the link
• Choose "Save Link As..." from the menu
• Navigate to the location you want to save the file in
• Click the Save button

One way to tell if a link is just a link to a web page or a link to a software package, word document, etc. is to place your mouse cursor on the link. In the bottom of the frame of your browser, not on the page, the full URL to that link will appear. If the URL ends in .html, the link is to a web page. If it ends with .doc, it is a Word document. If it ends with .exe it is a software package. If it ends with .zip, it is a zipped archive, which could be a collection of documents or software.
