06/03/2009 8:30am ITS is experiencing system problems this morning. We will keep you updated as information becomes available.
02/10/2009 11:00am Per OSC Memo SAD09-08 issued on February 3, 2009, OSC has implemented the function of sorting payments (made through the NCAS electronic payments module) and automated transfers into CMCS priority codes. As a result, there may be multiple transfers each day for your general fund budget code depending on the priority disbursement of your electronic payments. The priority level will be included in the reference number field on the PF22 screen. These transfers will be posted in prepared status and each agency will be responsible for submitting the transfers in CMCS. For your assistance, report NCAS_CMCS PAYMENT REPORT has been established in NCX/PTR to provide the list of transactions by priority. Please contact Shirley Trollinger at 919-981-5426 or shirley.trollinger@osc.nc.gov if you have any questions.
11/12/08 12:05pm Due to scheduling issues encountered in Friday night’s NCAS processes for Cash Management, Accounts Payable and Central Payroll transactions were not sent to CMCS. These Friday transactions will be included with the AP activity in tonight’s (11/12) processes. We apologize for this inconvenience. Thank you for your patience.
11/10/08 9:30am Automated CMCS entries did not post from Friday night’s NCAS processing. The file will post tonight and agencies should be able to see all of their transactions on Wednesday morning. Agencies DO NOT need to manually key any transactions. Thank you for your patience.
06/27/2008 10:05AM CMCS is available. We will leave CMCS up for processing until 12:30 today. Any transfers and requisitions in PREPARED status will have to be reviewed, passed and/or submitted.
06/27/2008 9:40am CMCS is expected to be down until 10:45am. Users will have until 12:30 to key and check their information after it becomes available. Please watch this page for updates.
06/26/2008 7:15pm

In order to correct the problems created by the system disruption on Wednesday, OSC has processed the following:

  • Automated requisitions (999 and 998 reference numbers) with 06/24/08 - 06/26/08 dates were processed and approved. The requisitions will be updated before 9:00 am on 06/27/08.
  • EPay transfers (EEE reference number) with 6/24/08 - 6/26/08 dates were processed and approved. These transfers will be updated before 9:00 am on 6/27/08.
  • IGO transfers (III reference number) with 6/24/08-6/25/08 dates were processed and approved. These transfers will be updated before 9:00 am on 6/27/08.

CMCS will remain down on Friday morning until the Thursday PM update and Friday AM update are completed. As a result of this, we will leave CMCS up for processing until 12:00 pm on Friday. Agencies will need to re-key any manual requisitions and deposits originally keyed on 6/25/08. Any transfers in PREPARED status, must be reviewed, passed and/or submitted. You will receive notification when CMCS is available for your normal daily processing. If you have any questions please call Melody Tart (919-981-5486) and thanks for your continued patience and support.

06/26/2008 8:30am CMCS problems have been identified and OSC and ITS are in the process of correcting and it will be time consuming. To expedite this process, we ask that all CMCS users please stay out of the system until further notice. Also, please be advised that agencies may have to re key transactions that were lost in the crash. Please continue to check this site for further updates. Thanks for your patience.
06/25/2008 3:00pm CMCS is experiencing technical difficulties. ITS and OSC are currently researching the cause of the problem and a solution. Please do not continue to try and log in until further notice. Since the crash occurred during the 2:00 update, no disbursing accounts have been updated with today's requisitions. Please do not release any checks that pertain to these requisitions.
